Ginger and Garlic Crab

7 Jan

Before I went on vacation, my mother made me a goodbye meal. One of my favorite dishes for sure, and, coincidentally it even fitted with the cuisine of my destination. The preparation of the dish goes somewhat as follows: first the crab is washed in water, then the crab is broken into pieces (my mother uses a grinder made of stone for this), then probably some preperations take place that I am not familiar with and lastly, the crab is put in a wok with the ginger, garlic and also probably some other ingredients. The final result is oh so delicious and should be eaten with rice. Preferably, the crab is eaten with your hands. Watch out, because it can be a dirty mess!
