Hutspot Met Klapstuk/Hotchpotch with Chuck Roast

9 Jan

Hutspot is a typical Dutch dish that is traditionally eaten in the winter. The dish is made out of potatoes, carrots, onions, peper, salt and bay leaf. All the ingredients are mashed together and voila, you have hutspot. You should eat it with chuck roast and a nice gravy. Not only because of tradition, but also because it is just the perfect combination. If possible, choose the chuck roast in favor of other meat like a smoked sausage. Thanks Cornelis Joppenszoon, for finding hutspot!
