Fresh Bread Machine on Antwerp Central Station

17 May

Have you ever had that moment when you wanted to get onto a train, or just got off, and realized that you forgot to buy some bread at the supermarket? Well, if you live near Antwerp Central Station, you do not need to worry. When I stepped out of the train this machine was one of the first things I saw. A machine where you can buy a whole fresh bread. I had never seen a similar machine and I am really curious how many Belgians really use it.

You’ve never seen one of these? Almost every Belgian bakery has one, just in case one of their regular clients would show up after business hours to buy a fresh loaf of bread. And it also comes in handy after a rough night out when you’re just craving something to eat but the shoarma joint is closed.

No I hadn’t! That sounds quite logical. And it is probably less expensive and much healthier than shoarma after a night out.

Haha that would’ve been even better than these loafs of bread.
